No, there are no marks or scratches, hun. (Please see pics for verification)
And yes, it does scan quite well. I haven't used it for a while, cuz I got a big all-in-one earlier this year. But it's just been right here in my drawer. So nothing could have happened to it since it was last used.
I just wanted to make sure I got along well with the new one before letting go of this one. LOL! =)

That I am not sure about. I had/ have windows 7. Just got a 10 about a month ago. So, I really don't know about the newer systems...
But truthfully, does Windows 10 work with anything at all? And vice versa? LOL!

Thank you, i so want this but scared it won't work because of my windows version. I do have an xp also but it's always had some problem with few discs downloading of there drives.

I totally understand. It worked on my XP, and 7, for sure. But I haven't tried with my 10. I am not thrilled with 10, as it is. I now have a brand new 10 PC, but keep my 7 right here next to me for when the 10 is being what I call, 'less than cooperative'. LOL! =)

So true, I actually had to go buy a new windows 10 since my computer was not working, but after a few hours my windows 8 started working fine and I don't use the new one as often since it's not my favorite and a bit more confusing than the older versions.I have or had used.

Same here, basically. I got a 10 because my 7 was having problems. But it's pretty old, too. It's the machine, not the system. But I even 'upgraded my 7 to 10 after I got my new 10. But the two of them were driving me nuts so bad that I then 'UPgraded' my 7 BACK to 7. LOL! And I honestly do no see it going back to 10 as long as it's in my possession! LOL! =)
