It measures 2" high, and 5" long, from nose to edge of tail.

The fine detail of this turtle is amazing.

It is a signed piece with oriental writing.

Has a very slight scratch on top,

I understand. I have a crazy obsession for turtles, or tortoises (I think is proper term) I have lots of jewelry, and trinkets, etc. I really want to buy a turtle to raise as my own child! LOL! But I don't like the idea of taking wild animals out of their natural habitat just for our own selfish reasons. So we can what, make pets out of them? I'm just not ok with that part of it. So unless I come across one that is in need of medical care..trinkets will have to do!

If it was, it would be more expensive, as you know. Green jade is more favored, but this red Jade is rich and beautiful too, especially with the detailed carvings on this. Pics, don't do it justice. Was taken with my phone
