Is that the actual 1880 o silver dollar that I will get when I buy it now? is this uncirculated? it sure looks mint, thanks
Dec 12th, 2011 at 7:42:39 PM PST by
Original
Yes it is the actual coin. I don't want to call it mint because some people may say it's not. I will let the bidder be the judge. But that is the coin you will be getting. You welcome. :)

If it is mint and that is actual pic I will take it cause you know that would be anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars for the coin in the pic.

That's what I was thinking. but it's not graded. The gin is very fair. I will be letting the winner be the judge of it's condition. I don't want to say it's mint as I said. I don't consider it mint but almost. Good luck yo you. :)

The Morgan is not 1891. It is 1880-O. The Indian head cent is 1891. :)

Morgan Dollar values for common dates and lower grades are strongly tied to the price of silver bullion. The Morgan Dollar prices given here are based on a silver spot price of $18.00 per ounce. The mint mark is on the reverse (tails side), near the bottom, right above the DO in DOLLAR.

Some are worth wayyyyyy more to collectors. A nice Morgan is not sold for melt value, but for collector value and rarity and condition. If a person wanted to melt this coin they do not deserve to own it. :)

Morgan Dollars are a little tougher to give average values for because many dates of Morgan Dollars never circulated in large numbers. Instead, they were sold by the Treasury Department more or less directly to coin collectors. Therefore, the Morgan Dollar values given in this price guide are given in two grades, "average circulated" and "basic uncirculated."

Do you get the 1880 Silver Dollar ONLY with GIN? Or is the bidding for both coins?
Dec 13th, 2011 at 10:12:04 AM PST by
Original
Yes the Morgan is if the buyer uses the GIN. The auction is for the 1891 Indian Head cent. The Morgan is a bonus if the GIN is used. If The GIN is the the winner gets both coins. I just couldn't take a risk on loosing all of the credits that I have in the Morgan. That's why I did it that way with the GIN. I have 24.444 for this coin with another coin. I am actually loosing. lol

Merry Christmas. :)

The listing seems a bit misleading since you list the silver dollar first and have that picture displayed.

I did put the picture of the silver dollar first so people would notice the listing, but I have described it very well and stated two times in the listing that it was for the Indian cent and the gin is for the Morgan an the Indian cent. I also updated with the info as well. I am really not trying to be misleading at all. I can't rearrange the pics because the auction has bids or I would. I do have pictures of the cent displayed as well. Didn't think it would matter since the bidder does have the option to get both coins.

Hope you are not upset. :)

Merry Christmas. :)

I gave over 24,000 credits for the Morgan here on Listia not long ago. It is well worth the get it now option +++++. Everyone please read the full description and heading. It clearly states that this listing is only for the 1881 Indian Head Cent and that the 1880-O Morgan will be sent if and only if the GET IT NOW (GIN) is used. I am in no way trying to be misleading at all. Pictures of both coins are posted. I have described the listing very well and to the point and have also updated with the info as well.
