It's a cookbook . . . Gifts from a Jar has some wonderful recipes for soups, chilis, and more or heavy-weight paper in a small 3-ring binder with a very sturdy, durable hard cover. Because of the rings, you can add more pages. It is approximately 9" tall, 7 7/8" wide, and the spine is approximately 1 1/2" wide.

It's also a crafting project because it shows how you can make the soups, chilis, and such and give them as a gift in a jar!

Provided, in sealed plastic, is a round piece of fabric and some raffia, which you can use as a template to make other combinations of fabric and ribbon or colored raffia for the tops of most any type of jar!

I think most people would be thrilled to receive an edible gift made by someone they know - it shows caring.
