If the code is known to be from Bluray it will ALWAYS be indicated as such in the title of the listing. If the title does not specifically state "FROM BLU RAY", it is unknown if it is from DVD or Blu Ray and could be from either source. Unknown means I DO NOT KNOW! I am not a wizard, and if I don't know, I don't know how some of you expect me to magically find out. Despite the source, I will not guarantee HD or HDX redemption, as studios sometimes just do not provide HDX redemption for some reason. This especially applies to older codes, where MANY blu rays came with SD codes.
