Description

The listing, Sailor Moon / Sailor V Crescent Moon box (please read description!) has ended.

This will probably be the last thing I list until after Christmas, so I wanted to make it something cool--and what's cooler than Sailor Moon, right? ;D

This is the official Sailor Moon "Crescent Jewel Box" that was released in America in '95. However, this one isn't in perfect condition--I got it with the intent of turning it into Sailor V's (aka Sailor Venus) Crescent, shown in the last photo. BUT, I've been busy, so it's been sitting in a box for years, and I probably won't get around to it...so I figured this would be a great way to ensure that it went to someone who'd appreciate it. :D

Because it's old, it does NOT come with it's original box or the jewel ring that goes in the center. What you see in the photo is exactly what you'll get: JUST the Crescent box. It's in pretty good shape, and (just in time for Christmas!) would be perfect for any anime & manga fan, or for someone who wants to cosplay Sailor V!

Now, there have been TONS of fake Sailor Moon listings here lately; but as you can see, I'm not some newbie zero-feedback no verification kind of gal. I've done my best to take pictures of all the details and prove ownership of this item, and I will gladly answer any questions you might have about it. ;)

OK, onto the important stuff: I have a full time job, so sometimes it will take me a few hours to answer comments/questions, depending on when it's sent to me. My local post office branch is NOT open on Saturdays, so if you win something close to the weekend, it will most likely be mailed on the Monday or Tuesday afterwords. I offer FREE SHIPPING on this item, but it will be regular, First Class mail & MAY take up to 10 days to reach you, depending on where you live. Since this is a larger item, I will include delivery confirmation to make sure I know it arrives safely.

Thanks, & happy bidding!

Nice legit auction, and great detailed description! You were right about that fake noob trying to scam people with the sailor moon lot...she spent her credits right away and never sent the items :P

Thanks! I noticed that, too. :/ It's a shame that happened...I hate seeing people on Listia scammed. It's happened to me, too. I don't see how people can be so heartless, taking people's credits and getting their hopes up like that. :(

yep.. usamimi is a legit seller (^-^)d so bid with confidence! and hey, are you talkin' about the user who claimed to be a relative of W. Disney? just curious since I never did see how that ended or who won.. (and how it all ended) if so, that's really sad.. altho I would never have bid if she couldn't even take a moment to get verified! (how hard is that really, unless of course you're not serious..) such a shame..

Aww, thanks Saya! Much appreciated.
And yes, that's exactly the same one...And from looking at the scammer's feedback, it looks like they used a "get-it-now" to put all the credits they scammed into another account to spend them. :/ These scammers sure know how to manipulate the system, huh? It's a real shame...it's people like that who ruin Listia for the legit users like us. (I even tried to warn people, but no one wanted to believe me...)

Big sailor moon fan here =]
Out of curiosity - What happens if you get scammed? Does someone do something about it...? Or you just lose your credits and get nothing?
I'm a new user. Not wanting to get scammed. >.<

Normally if you're scammed, Listia will refund your credits, but sometimes it can take a few days (especially if the seller tries to dispute it). If you give them money for shipping and they end up being a scammer, however, things get more complicated. I had to fight with a scammer almost a MONTH through Paypal to get $10 worth of shipping back for stuff they never sent me. :(
So just be careful when bidding. If something looks too good to be true, and the person has no feedback, doesn't list their location, and has nothing in their account verified, it's most likely a scam. Just like eBay, trust people with good feedback, verified accounts, good photos, and lots of details in their descriptions.
Most of the people on Lisita are great! Out of all the transactions I've done in the past few months, I've only had to deal with a handful of scammers, so don't worry. :D Sadly, Sailor Moon just seems to be the thing scammers are into lately for some reason (probably because they know it's still popular.)

I love this. I have 2 of them (really) and am still tempted to bid. Haha. The two I have are complete though, and I feel bad about wanting to modify one for the Sailor V cosplay.

Yeah, that's exactly why I had this one...since it was missing the accessories, I wouldn't have felt bad modifying it. ;)

As for the scamming thing, unless they are charging for shipping, I do not know why the bother. Except that maybe they don't realize that on new accounts, you don't get credits for listings until after the buyer marks received. So really, the only credits they get to spend are the few for signup and listing the first auction.

Actually, you get the credits after either the buyer claims they got it, OR after a certain amount of days. So the scammer just made excuses until the waiting period passed and then they got the credits. (I looked in their feedback, and they spent the 11-thousand some credits they had gotten like, the DAY the waiting period ended, using a Get-it-now it launder them into another account.) It's a pretty sneaky and underhanded thing to do, if ya ask me. :/

Fair enough. I seem to remember the wait time being a few weeks at least, and me personally, if I do not get the item or proof of shipping within like a week, I will be raising heck with mods. Not that I distrust people or anything. lol

Nah, I totally agree. I usually start asking questions if I haven't seen or heard anything in a few days, either. Some people are too trusting, and they get taken advantage of, sadly. :/

Oh, if the listing goes over 1,500 credits, I'll throw in some small Sailor Moon goodies to go with it (like some cards & stickers) along with the free shipping. ;D Good luck!
