The Sizzix Sidekick machine is without a doubt the die cutter that is most well known for its affordability. It's a great entry-level die cutting machine that you really can't go wrong with, if you want something that does what it says on the tin and is incredibly portable. In fact, there are many crafters out there who are looking for a solution in addition to their home based die cutting machine. This is likely the one you've been searching for.

It comes with two plates, as pictured. It's designed to be portable so you'll find that it fits in quite nicely with an on-the-go lifestyle. It weighs a mere 2 pounds, so it definitely won't weigh you down. Don't let the fact that it's fairly small worry you, however. It can cut a single sheet of 65 lb card stock! It also has suction cups that allows it to stay put when you're cutting. It works best with the Sizzix brand "Sizzlits." However it WILL work with MOST other company dies, brass plates, Fiskar products, or other small size die cuts!
