I have no reason to believe they are not solid sterling. I do not know their origin but the dealer I got them from says SOLID silver. I do not test metals though so that's the best I can do ;D
Ok thanks. Dont mean to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Reason I ask is, because I recently got a few items from here and I asked if they were solid silver. I was guaranteed they were but i wear them a few times and they have changed color to brass. I did pay a high amount on credits and Ive messaged them but no answer. Im sorry dont mean to disrespect or anything.
Oh, no problem at all. Unfortunately there is a huge market for rings stamped "925" but simply means silver plated. Very deceiving. But when we get things second-hand we usually go by what we are told. I got these rings brand new off a web site I trust because of the detailed description and representation and I usually pay between $20 and $30 each. The ones you are talking about probably cost about $5. I purchased some acids to test metals but can't figure it out. So I still just go by what people say or try to get "vintage" rings I trust more to be solid. But trying to search for "vintage" rings also brings up a million alloy rings that are called vintage ;(
