This product gets two thumbs up (which means 5 stars) and here are my reasons for doing so. First, I have owned this memory card for several years, ever since I bought my PS 1 and it has never given me any problems. Despite what many reviewers say, it works just fine as long as you read the manual. Many of the reviewers say that the product is "unreliable" and "erases game saves." This is because they have most likely done the following: left the memory card inside the PS 1 and turned the system on and off while the card is inside. The manual states _not_ to do this and to insert the memory card only when the PS 1 is _on_ and to take the memory card out _before_ turning the console off in order to prevent any power surges from deleting game saves. Also, when switching pages you need to do this with the PS 1 on without any disc _or_ with the lid up. As for compatibility issues, every PS 1 game I own have worked with this memory card so I think it probably works for any PS 1 game.
