The listing, "WOW" 22" LG LCD TV has ended.
I have for auction is a 22" lg lcd tv,set in great shape,no scratcheh on screen,a little over a year old,was used in bedroom a few hours at night,,its an awesome set ,any questions text me :)comes with owners manual, merry christmas everyone :)
Actually this TV is a 19" google the model number it tells you right there in the specs 19” Class LCD HDTV (18.9” diagonal) 720p... Also when measuring a TV or monitor you do not include the casing on it...it is only the screen...
Would love this ...everyone can use a spare ....but with Luke Scooto and EmilyTran as well as a couple of others this will be expensive...lol Nice auction though!!! I just got some Morgans off of James anyways ; p
All TVs and monitors are measured by the diagonal size of the actual glass front of the screen With old TVs and monitors part of that measured screen is hidden by the chassis. With LCD the method in which the screen is mounted on the chassis allows more of the full screen to be visible. The reason for the diagonal measurement goes back to 1966 when the Fed register in USA ratified that the method was acceptable. Read the reason for that decision at http://www.fda.gov/OHRMS/DOCKETS/98fr/06-5362.pdf As for the 16:9. Old TVs had a ration of 4:3 or 4 units wide and 3 units high. 16:9 was chosen because contained full numbers. Sounds better than 4:2.25
nice auction harley!!! already a fan! I'll be listing a 1922s dollar first part of the week stop by & check it out! It's my last one!!!! good luck on the 22" tv
Very interesting. So Google says 19", seller says 22". Well I guess the bright side is that 19" is still a good size, and the shipping is free. Yes a 22" would be ultimate, but ill take a 19". I try not to bid against Emily if I dont have to though. I have deep pockets, but hers are deeper, much deeper. ;)
I want to do a dual monitor set up on a computer im building from scratch, so this would come in handy. Im trying to cut costs on the PC build where i can, and seeing how monitors aint cheap, this is the best area to cut costs in. I would like to do 2 22" widescreen monitors side by side. This doesnt look like a widescreen, but its good enough for me. Hope i win!
