The listing, 2005P West Virginia "Retained Cud" Error!! has ended.

Not likely to see one of these elsewhere here. A "Cud" occurs when a portion of the striking die breaks off and metal flows to the area to fill a gap in the design. A "Retained Cud" means the extra metal stays put as opposed to a cud that breaks away or falls off the coin. This cud appears at the left rim.Very hard to find. Mailed correctly and shipped free. Please see the close up in the second photo.
