The listing, 1927P Lincoln Cent Error-Complete Rev. Lamination! has ended.
This cent has a striated, complete reverse lamination. Usually I only see single lamination cracks but the reverse of this is covered in smaller laminations that cover the reverse. Mailed correctly and shipped free.
Questions & Comments
Wow thats amazing that ppl can spot these errors. You must hv a ton of knowledge about coins. Thats impressive that you know all of that info. Very cool
Thanks. I have been collecting since I was 12 years old so that's about 50 years this year. But there is always something new for me to learn. If you look closely at the first photo two of the more prominent cracks do show up.
Hi there, i just started collecting coins, could you please explain what reverse lamination means? Im tryin to figure it out on my own but im clueless lol thank you
Lamination errors appears as cracks of raised metal that looks to be peeling on the surface of a coin, usually due to the overuse of the die used to mint the coin. This one here may not show as well as others due to the finer cracks/peeling being so close together to each other.
Clicking on the first photo will enlarge my picture and you can see the cracks as they cross the coin. The most prominent is close to the left wheat ear.
