PREHNITE: is considered a stone of unconditional love and the crystal to heal the healer. It enhances precognition and inner knowing. Enables you always to be prepared. Prehnite calms the environment and brings peace and protection. It teaches how to be in harmony with nature and the elemental forces. Helpful for “decluttering” – letting go of possessions you no longer need, aiding those who hoard possessions, or love, because of an inner lack. Prehnite alleviates nightmares, phobias and deep fears, uncovering and healing the dis-ease that creates them. It is a stone for dreaming and remembering.

Prehnite aids you to connect to beings on the higher spiritual planes, and enhances spiritual growth. It helps you to be prepared, as it enhances precognition or prior knowledge of an event, and the gift of prophecy. By its action of linking your heart with your will, by its vibration within the solar plexus, it assists you to live life from a heart based perspective.

It was known in the past as a stone of magic, and this may have been because it so strongly connects you to the Divine Mind. This green stone supports personal discipline, and it encourages the heart to surrender to Divine will.

Thank you again! I think that Prehnite is an under appreciated stone. It has so many GREAT qualities and properties. Green Stones are such great Heart/ Heart chakra stones and I really believe that Loving one's self is one of the Keys to lifelong happiness. Thanks again my friend for stopping by and for always making me feel good about my designs.

We have clouds and it rained all weekend. I am afraid on Wednesday when it will actually be dry enough for me to mow I am going to have grass up to my waist! LOL but we have sun coming tomorrow. Here's hoping for great days for us both! =)

Now that is a lot to mow compared to our postage size lawns in the city.

Yes, I lived in Chicago for a year when I was doing my one of my internships. My mortgage is almost exactly what I paid for a one bedroom apartment that I shared with two others (Yes we had bunk beds=). There is so much fun and wonderful things to be seen and to do in the City but it is also wonderful to live in the country. =) I understand the postage stamp lawn=) I hope you Wednesday is being Wonderful to you! ~Namaste

I am so use to living in the city, but do like getting out to the country areas. Prices are not cheap here.

I had grown up a 30 minute drive from the town I went to High School in. So I am use to wide open spaces. The cost of living when I was in Chicago was what blew me away. The old Brownstone that I lived in (It was one that had been made into four apartments) did have a decent sized back yard for everyone to share and I did enjoy having "picnics" and inviting the nuns who lived next door. (they were a progressive order) I really loved living in the city but with the kind of work I was planning on doing I just could not afford to live in the city. So the backyard kept me sane because we all got to share it and it was size able enough to fit 20-30 people in it comfortably for a get together. I need fresh air, stars, and space. However, I miss always having something cheap (I had which museums were free on what days memorized and lots of art shows that cost nothing. I even took Yiddish dancing lessons in Lincoln Park once) all the time. Here I have to drive an hour into Kansas City for there to be anything to do=)

At least you had a good backyard area to keep your sanity while doing your internship. Gone are the days of free admission, although some museums have free days. Lincoln Park area is really expensive. Those dance lessons must have been interesting.

When I was there of course this was 97-98 and every Friday Lincoln Park has some sort of Free thing to do in the park and I thought it was an Awesome experience since I grew up Protestant and had never had any exposure to Jewish culture. Plus I lived in Hyde Park so it wasn't that far for me. Back then though on Tuesday the Art Museum was Free, The Field Museum was free third Friday of the month, the Natural History Museum was free ever other Wednesday, and the Shed Aquarium was half price for students every day and since I was still a student then they took my ID as proof. The smaller artist areas which I can't think of what they were called but they would do whole apartment complexes of people showing their art and it cost nothing. Then I volunteered at the Chicago Vietnam Veterans Art Museum and so that was very educational and I enjoyed getting to know the artists there. So when I lived there I could always find things that were cheap or free to do. I don't have any idea how it now. Even when we had to drive through Chicago to get to my Cancer treatment center my hubby wouldn't stop anywhere there because of the constant murder rate that the news loves to report.

You sure got to do lots of free things. There seems to be less free things these days.
Most museums want at least $20 admission and extra for special exhibits. I can see why your husband drives quickly through Chicago. More people, more crime.

LOL yes he actually stop in St. Louis so we go to the bathroom because he hates stopping in Illinois completely. (Even though my Cancer Treatment Center is in Zion, IL) He basically see's it as the Politically corrupt state. I tell him that Illinois is more than just Chicago. LOL However, even I am baffled at how Rohm Emanuel became the Mayor there. Seriously just baffled but for the what 40 years prior you had a Daley of sort or another as Mayor. LOL it makes me sad that everything is so expensive there now because I loved being able to live on a shoe string budget while i was there and never feel bored.

I guess Chicago still has that gangster Al Capone image. You are right about all the corruption. Just too much greed.

LOL Yes it kinda does but that is part of the charm of Chicago. I don't understand how taxes went up through the legislature 66% over night without a vote from the people. That is probably why none of the Museums have free days anymore. I loved living there I just couldn't afford it unless I had two room mates and after a year of that I never wanted a roommate again unless it was a hubby LOL
