Watch out for a seller called bio_cratos. She is selling hundreds of dollars worth of gift cards and not sending the codes (Amazon is what I won from her, days ago). She is bidding on everyone else's gift cards and then demanding IMMEDIATE e-mail of the codes so she can send them to HER winners. If she wins this one ... you might want to give her a taste of her own medicine and wait a day or two to send it.

I've been ripped off by her already and will probably have to wait a week to get my credits back ... warning to all!

Update ... I have started a 21-day auction inviting all to comment and/or reveal sellers who are scamming. Please check out my 21-day listing inviting all to share scam stories ... I even paid a premium on this to attract a lot of comments. Please search "scam story" and you'll find it easily!

Scams are going to affect a lot of people on Listia who are trying to win and receive holiday gifts. We are all on a deadline this time of year and I think it's TIME to circle the wagons, get some of these people OFF Listia (or at least warn bidders) and encourage LISTIA to do something about these people. Normally they don't even close their accounts, I have no idea why.
