Questions & Comments

Several people have asked me if you need to give them your credit card info...the answer is NO! You do not need to give them any payment whatsoever. The only info they ask for is the name and address of the person you want the subscription to go to and an email address so they can send you an order confirmation. I think a couple of them might ask for a date of birth, can't remember exactly, but that's all the info they need! :)

Just wanted to mention that due to the Holidays fast approaching and the ensuing postal rush, you may need to add an additional week or so to the amount of time in which you will receive your first issue.

I might get this for my sister. She used to try to grab my magazines and read them when I was a subscriber to Seventeen. How would she know I got the subscription for her if the first issue doesn't arrive until January? Would there be like a confirmation email or something?

Yes, once you redeem the code, the magazine sends a confirmation email. I send the winner a link and a code via listia message once the auction is over. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page that the link takes you too, you will see a link that says customer service. You can also click on that and log in with the name and email that you give them for the subscription (after you submit the order, of course). This will show you an order summary and will tell you exactly when to expect your first issue to arrive. But you have to save the link and wait a few days to check on that because you have to give them time to get your order into their system. Good luck if you decide to bid!
