There is a large assortment of items in this auction & I could be adding more!!!!!
Most all of the items listed here are new & have never been used. There may be a couple buttons missing from the cards they are on, but that was my fault cuz when I first came in possession of these items, I had to take a couple of each button to add to my button collection!!!
So with that said.... Here we go!!!!!!
You are bidding on the following items...
2 Pin Cushions (actually 3) 1 for your wrist and 2 for your sewing box or cabinet.
3 Singer sewing machine bobbins (I took them out of the package to save space)
3 Zippers of various sizes Cranberry (7inches), Beige (22 inches) & Black (9 inches)
5 Iron-on Patches in Brown, Grey, Light Blue, Dark Blue & Black.
White Elastic roughly 1/4 inch wide x 1 1/2 yards long
Black Elastic 1 inch wide 15 feet long
Black elastic 1/2 inch wide 56 inches long (approximately)
1 unopened package of buttons with roughly 100 or more buttons in package
1 smaller package of shirt & skirt buttons with approximately 25 buttons.
Card of 8 dress fasteners
A Thimble
12 Large needles for Tapestry etc....
4 cards with 37 pearl white buttons(total)
1 card with 5 antique white buttons
2 cards with 6 navy buttons(total)
1 card with 2 beige buttons
1 card with 2 white buttons
1 package of Black Bias Tape
As I mentioned at the beginning, there is a very high possibility that I will be adding more as the auction goes along...
Give some suggestions as to what you would like added (has to be sewing items only)...

this metal bobbins are they curved. The top looks curved not striaght. such a great auction i cant think of anything to add. What you up there is already very nice.Maybe a small box of push pins to go with the pin cushion.

Do you have any knitting needles or steel crochet hooks, tatting shuttles or tatting needles? My neices are getting excited about handcrafting (hurray!!!) and as much as I love them, I am reaaly (selfishly) attached to my craftign tools.

Not positive, I know they came from my Grandma's Singer sewing machine. They were in the package, but my grandson wanted to taste them (not to his liking!!). When I finally noticed it was too late... package destroyed..

Do you know of anyone one who is auctioning of yards of material? I have found one, but most people are auctioning little squares for quilting or little scraps.

Bias tape would be great, or some hooks and eyes, or snaps, maybe even some spools of thread.
Fanned, and watching. This would make a great Christmas gift for my daughter in law. She just started sewing and could use all kinds of stuff like this.

The Singer bobbins from the older machines are standard size. Some of the older bobbins are a little shorter but they still fit just fine; they just don't hold as much thread. I like the metal bobbins though; they last longer :-)They fit most machines except the old Futura that had the larger, flatter bobbins and the ones that fit in the undercasinngs (the pieces that you take out/place bobbin in/and then replace back in the machines.
As for the lady who is looking for metal crochet hooks, contact me!

I am really loving this auction. Wishing it would end sooner. I also thought of two more things that would be great to add into this sewing lot. A special marking chalk for when you mark material for patterns and a stitch remover.

oh yea a fabric marker would help I dont have one and missed up on one of my apron's.Im trying to make enough for my whole family since no money for other things but hey homemade aprons are better then anything bought at the store right .lol.

This is wonderful. I think you have started a good idea. I think I will put one of these up soon...I even have the marking chalk!! My stuff is vintage though. I have so much of this kind of stuff. They are basically called junk boxes for my catagory, but then one persons junk is another persons treasure...yeah!! Watching and enjoying this!!
