Yes, the leaves come out first. I am not sure if that it what you have. Philodendrons look like that without the flowers. It is a common houseplant. When you think about it, most flowers are actually some type of weed. It's just that we like some more than others. lol How have you been Sweetie? Things are crazy here as usual!!!
