Description

The listing, Wow!!! Beautiful Crystal Dyrberg/Kern Ring has ended.

This is a ring I ordered for myself, but unfortunately is too big. I believe it is a Size 7. It is loose on my thumb. It comes with a pouch to keep it in. I love Dyrberg/Kern designs. In case you can't tell from the picture...the crystals are a brilliant army green color. In some light, it looks like a charcoal color. Very unique! I hope you or someone you love can enjoy this ring. It's value is $105 which you can see from the tag. Hope you like and bid generously ;)

But you can ask Listia to remove the listing and relist it. If you do that, try to copy/paste your text and save it so you don't have to write it all over again. Or just go into your deleted listings and even the Listia deleted items show up there. You can relist them but you can copy the text.

What is the best way to get a quick response from Listia? Submit a support ticket?

The only time you can change them is before you have bids, and you can't move them, you just have to delete and repost the ones ahead of it. I have asked Listia several times to make the photos moveable. But I know Listia is having photo related issues lately, so maybe that's not going to happen any time soon.

That's what I thought. I hope they change that feature. Maybe more of us should start asking. ;)

You must be a tiny little elf of a lady, matches your adorable personality!

I'm leaving in a few minutes, won't be online much in the next two days. So if I don't respond to anything, that's why!

Sunday nights are the best times to end any auctions ... learned that years ago on ebay. However, I also like Mondays because I know a lot of people get their credits on Sunday nights when their listings end. I tried Friday and Saturday nights and the results were abysmal ... stay away from Saturday nights at all costs, but as a buyer you can get some great deals with listings ending Saturday nights.

And always be sure to end them late enough that people from across the country can be at their computers. That's why, on the East coast, I end my listings at 10-10:30, that way people on the west coast can get on their computer after dinner. When I was on ebay I ended my listings after 11 pm, and that might be best on Listia too. I don't actually stay up that late so normally I don't see my listings end, so I guess I could bump them back to 11 instead of 10 at night. I probably should.

Because a lot of people get their credits on Sunday nights, Mondays and Tuesdays might be good also. I haven't tried Tuesday night listings in a while but might do that again to test it out.

I just have middle aged eyes and normally wear readers, but they've gotten so bad I can't see price tags, the controls on my range, my Listia photos when I take them and try to see them on the camera screen, stuff like that. I'm just trying the contacts as an alternative to wearing reading glasses ALL of the time.

I think your fibromyalgia issues are far worse, I'm so sorry this has happened to you! I know fibro is a very difficult condition to deal with. My condition is more of an inconvenience ... I hope you find some method of keeping inflammation under control, but I'm sure you've tried a lot of different things.

I have mild arthritis also so I take a daily anti-inflammatory and it's worked like a charm, but after about a year of doing this my stomach is starting to bother me, so I'm wondering if I will be able to keep taking that medication (it's a prescription related to ibuprofin). All of those sorts of drugs can be hard on your stomach.

Fibro is terrible. It got worse after I had my daughter 11 years ago. Yes, be careful of the ibuprofins....I ended up in the hospital with inflammed intestines and gastritis from Advil. Of course, I had to take 8 a day to get through the pain, and I don't have a low tolerance for pain. I gave natural childbirth - 17 hours of labor, if that gives you any indication of my tolerance ;) Fibro kicks my butt though! I see a Rhumetologist now and he has me on muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatory's and something to coat my stomach to protect it. I've actually been able to start walking again for about 20-30 min a day. Excerise is the best for Fibro, it's just hard when your in pain. It's a catch 22 thing. Oh well, we all have our trials...I just take one day at a time and try not to complain. Have a great day!

No, nevermind, I just saw the tag photo (which is also a great photo). It says base metal, so it's not sterling. You get great photos though ... when you take them, take a BUNCH of each item so you have lots to choose from. I have good days and bad days when I take photos.

But, I just got contacts at Walmart (using gift cards I won on Listia) to improve my near vision (I have middle aged presbyopia and can't see a thing any more). So the next time I take photos, I'll be able to see if they are good ones when I take them ... SOOO nice to be able to see again!

I have inflamation in my eyes from Fibromyalgia, so I feel your pain on having good seeing days and not so good. Your condition sounds a lot worse. I wish contacts would correct my problem. My vision is perfect, but when they are inflammed, I only have drops to put in and it take hours for my eyes to adjust.

Is it sterling, marked 925 anywhere? For that price it probably is ... if so, try to get a photo of the mark, hold your camera far enough away that it will be in focus, and then crop the photo using the software to show the marks. You'd be amazed the clear shots you can get of marks like that with a little practice. Your photos are pretty good, so I KNOW you can do this ... just takes some practice.

I looked for the .925 marking and don't see it anywhere. It just says silver and metal base on the box and on the tag attached to the ring, so I didn't post .925 if I couldn't find it, but yes, it was expensive. Thank you for the tips on the pictures, I will try that. :)

Rachelle ... a little tip. Your third photo is your best photo, would have been best to put that first show it shows up in the listing searches. Also, if you have photo software, take a photo like that and crop it in to make it larger. I can't remember if I've told you this before, but I use HP Photosmart, which is a free software download. It can be a pain in the rear to learn to use at first, but once you "get it" it's pretty easy and you can really improve your photos. With jewelry and other small items, the photos are the key to selling successfully. Good luck!

I was thinking the same thing about the 3rd picture. Is there a way to switch them around after you post them? If so, I haven't figured this out yet ;) HP Photosmart came with my HP computer and I've never used it....I will definitely try it. Thanks again!

You must have TINY fingers for a size 7 to be too large on your thumb. Very pretty ring, hope you do GREAT with it! Don't forget that if you win any of my listings tonight for 1,000 credits or more I'll send you the charm you want ... just remind me to swap it for you.

Yes, my ring finger is a 4.5...fingers, wrists and ankles are the few skinny things I have left. Lol! ;) I will definitely do that tonight for the charm...thanks again for offering to do that!

Yes, Get it Now is always a gamble. But you only pay 50 credits to use it, if someone buys with Get it Now you get those 50 credits back but pay 10 percent in commission to Listia (a minimum of 200 credits). Most of the stuff I list ends Get it Now but every Sunday and Monday night, I have some of those that haven't been purchased and can be a real bargain!

Have you found that there are certain days that are best to have your auctions end on? I would think the weekends are good, but I haven't always been successful with those days.

Once a bid is placed, I can't change the time. I'll try to contact a Moderator to see if I can had a GIN (get it now) option. If I do add GIN, I would list for 2500. Would you be willing to bid that much? I can't afford to list for any less.

You may get it for less anyway. It's just that if GIN option is not used, Listia takes some of my credits, so I don't like using it unless I know someone is definitely going to use it.

yes I will ship to Canada, as long as it's not extremely expensive. I've shipped a Wii game to Canada before and it didn't seem to be anymore expensive than usual.
