Good luck! They are pretty hard to pull. I kinda lucked out. I've a decent year with buying cards. Probably means next year will not be so great.

Its not. If you look real close he has a necklace on but it is way up at the top of his jersey. Its just a crazy star portruding out of his chest. lol

lol...after going close up myself, I saw how scratched up the top loader appears to be. It is a lot better than it appears. And the corners are perfect!!

i got into these sparkles at first 1 case hit, glad i sold them while they were still bringing top dollar, Kept all my rookies though and dont have drabek! awesome varaition, I wonder how many kids just passed up the sparkles & legend SPs, at retail vendors lol?!

Hey man, will you please tell me about this sparkle card?? Im 37 and just started collecting this year. I see what u are talking about,the sparkle,but what does it mean? I understand its hard to pull,but does it come in just boxes or can it come in single packs? Is this just a reagular Topps? How much does that add to the value if you had to guess. Trying to learn all I can and its easier and ask a person for info. that has experience. Thanks. Fanned and watching. Im sure I have won from you before,I think so.

Like Tod says below, they are inserts that were added to the set. They are hard to notice sometimes. They are 1 per case on average and increase the card value quite a bit.

chad, they were issued this year in 2011 topps and they average 1 per box or a legend short print, that does make them worth more obviously, the sparkle is on his jersey, the regular verisons dont have it thats the only difference therefore if you opened some topps you have to watch close! could be the difference in $2 or $20...anyhow hope that helps!
