Description
The listing, Handcut Large Jars for Card Making and Paper Crafts 6 has ended.
This listing is for 6 large cardstock jars. I embossed these on white cardstock paper and then cut them out by hand. The lids are embossed on glittery gold paper or silver cardstock paper and attached to the jars with double sided tape.
You can "fill" these with your favorite embellishments and add them to your paper crafts. The last photo shows an example of what I did with one of these jars for a card I made. The card is NOT included in the auction.
The jars are 3 1/8 inch across, and 5 3/8 inches tall.
These turned out nice! You can take some plastic like from the old overhead projector plastic and put over it (you can probably find some at a Goodwill or garage sale too if you don't want to pay full price for some!) and it makes it look like it's really in a jar! I especially love how you used the gold paper at the top on the lid and the silver. Talk about making it look real!!! These look so cute with the paper from the "yummy" series which includes food items such as popcorn, candies, fruits, chocolates, and more.
Thank you for the tips. I do have a few sheets of the clear over head projector papers. My small jar punch was not liking those. I should try them with this large jar folder and see how they emboss. Thank you for the compliments too :o)
Actually, I think you have to hand cut them and not emboss them. Just lay it over the jar part then use that as a pattern to hand cut your shape. It's not hard. You can try tracing with a pen or pencil, but I don't use one.
