From the estate of my husbands grandmother...A Beautiful very vintage Victorian-ish handmade brooch, with a polished engraving of the initial S on a curved oval of silvery metal--Unknown metal. Looks very like sterling silver, or silver plate over copper perhaps?
Non magnetic. The background is hazier, not as polished, to set the letter apart.
Measures about 2 inches wide.
Pin is still sharp. Hook closure.
Hinge is partially brass.
Smoke free home.
