I received a doll like this for a present around 1959. I lost her along with my luggage in '74 and have thought of her often :-(
You mention the one in yellow has closing eye lids. How are they? arms move, legs, head? I vaguely recall how they had rubber bands to hold everything in place. (I think they were rubber bands, I could be wrong). so the lavendar one lost her bonnet? fanning plz consider fanning back

Seem to move fine. Rubberband does hold parts together from what I can tell, seem fine. The peurple one has a feather on side of hair so I'm guessing she didn't have a bonnet. Actually was 70 degrees yesterday here. No snow yet...thank God.Eyes on yellow one fine and closing and opening great.
