The listing, 5 Different Chocolate Soap Recipes! Great Christmas Gifts!!! has ended.

Just in time for Christmas! Not just 1 or 2, but 5 different chocolate soap recipes! I should also mention that these are easy to make. These are not recipes for the type of soap that involves working with lye, because lye can be dangerous, and because that kind of soap-making can be very time-consuming.

These are easy-to-make, safe recipies. You don't need any prior experience with soap making to do them, plus I'll include some basic soap-making tips along with the recipie. I'll make sure to explain everything, step-by-step.

Chocolate soap makes a wonderful, hand-made, Christmas gift. :-)

These are the recipies you'll get:

1. Shea butter chocolate soap
2. Cocoa butter chocolate soap
3. Cinnomen Spice chocolate soap
4. Vanilla chocolate soap
5. Chocolate orange cupcake soap

Please note that the photo is not one of the soaps listed above. I don't have any of my chocolate soaps made right now, so I couldn't take a photo. But I have made all of the soap recepies, with great success. I hope this photo is not against the rules, and, if it is, I will take the photo down right away. Please also note that I will be emailing the winner the recipes, not sending them by mail. That way, it's easier, quicker and cheaper for everyone.

Thanks! The only problem is that they smell so good, sometimes I do feel like eating them, when I make them! :-)

Thanks!

Well, that depends on which kind of mold you use for your soap. If you use tiny molds, you'll get lots of small soap, big molds, and you'll get a a few large bars of soap. But, the general rule, in soap-making, is that 1lb of soap-base makes 3-5 bars of soap. The soap base is availble everything, at craft stores, I think even Wal-mart carries is. I know Michaels carries it.

So, if I use the 1lb = 3-5 bars rule, then....

1. Recepie 1 will make about 6-10 bars
2. Recepie 2 will make about 6-10 bars
3. Recepie 3 will make about 3-5 bars
4. Recepie 4 will make about 1-3 bars
5. Recepie 5 will make about 1-3 bars

That's just a guideline, though! Just so you have a rough idea. Also, the thing is, you could change the recepies if you want more soaps, or less soaps....it's really easy to just double the ingrediants, or only use half of the ingrediants, etc. Sometimes, if I'm making a recepie for the first time, I only make a very small batch of soaps....that way, if I don't wind up liking that particular soap, I haven't wasted a bunch of ingrediants on it.
