This is the October 1885 issue, all original of the Messenger of the Sacred Heart, organ of the apostleship of Prayer. Great Catholic history! This issue has been quite read and enjoyed! Antique of over 130 years. Interesting reading even for an Atheist!The contents include: The First Picture of the Sacred Heart, A Saint for October, Prayer of St Francis, The Three Mirrors and much more!
Over 30 pages in the October volume. Quite Victorian in the times and thought! Enlarge for details. Measures 4-1/2 x 6 inches; Great framed art, wonderful gift! This copy is all original , only slightly yellowed pages, and the outer cover is a fine shade of pink with age indications and marks..Pages edges are uneven as this was made by the Manresa Press. Protected in Cellophane. Wonderful gift!
