I bought a Kinect and Xbox 360 bundle for my dad for Christmas, so I'm new to the live thing. Does the 48 hours count only when you are playing through Live?

From the time you redeem the code, you can use Xbox Live for 48 hours. Without Live, you can still use your xbox; you just can't can't use any of the online features.

the way it works is you can put the highest amount you're willing to bid but it will stay at the minimum until someone bids higher. so my bid could be at 50 but I am willing to spend 100. u will keep getting outbid until you bid 101 or more. hope that helps. you can read in listias FAQ for more clarification :)
