Description

The listing, "FULL LIBERTY" 1883 V NICKEL "W/Cents Variety" has ended.

This auction is for a 1883 V NICKEL. This coin shows the "FULL LIBERTY" and is the scarcer "W/Cents Variety" that everyone is always searching for.
I will have to tell you that this coin has begun the wear on Liberty's Head very strangely for the "L" and "B" of Liberty are Bold and Strong, but the "I" is where the wear has begun and it is no where near as Strong as the rest of Liberty.

The scans above are of the actual item that you will receive, and are provided for you to determine the condition and/or grade of it.
I never clean or alter coins in any way, and do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.
I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
Be sure to check out all of my other auctions that always run on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.

Most of you know that I have been adding a rider to all of my auctions, stating that the post office is no longer reliable enough to get anything delivered in a timely manner and I wish that this was not necessary.
Now that the holidays are over with, the Post Office has been doing a better job of getting packges to their destination in a timely manner. Just let it be known that all items will be sent the next available day after end of auction, for I actually go to the Post Office and pay for the Package and Tracking in person so that you will receive your item as soon as possible. I also check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything that is out of the ordinary.
Thank you for your interest in my auctions and stopping by to view them.

thank you... a little tougher to find variety. you would think that there would have been more with "cents" on them than the other way around. I guess that as always... learn from your mistakes.

Yeah I used to think that the without cents would be worth more but oh well and can I get your opinion on what you think a 1885 would go for damaged thanks

you have to know that it would all depend on the damage and what the coin looked like before the damage. most damage is usually big dents or kids scratching something into it, and that will always make a coin a G at the most usually, but like I said, if the coin is great under it who knows and if not, then you will have to expect an AG. plus, most people will not touch a name scratched into a coin.

Yeah I understand that it is in almost perfect shape except my son get a hold of it and took a chunk out of the top that's why im thinking of selling it but its extremely rare figured I could sell it as a filler

that will always work. everyone needs a hole filler, I still can not find an 09-S VDB in any shape that still shows all of that for less than an arm and a leg... and at least you are getting something in return even though its got to hurt to do so.
