The listing, Collection of knitting and crochet needles has ended.

Small collection of knitting and crochet needles. Knitting needles are the longer lot and they come in pairs. Crochet needles are the smaller lot pictured and only come in singles. They are all different sizes. Sizes of knitting needles are 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 & 19 and sizes of crochet needles are 9, 12, F, G, H, I, J & K. They used to belong to my grandmother who was an experienced knitter and crocheter. But that didn't pass to me. Only her needles. I would like to pass these along to someone would could appreciate them and put them to use. Thanks for looking.

why is the shipping so high on this?

Because the knitting needles are long and I couldn't fit them into any other box. They will be shipped in the medium flat rate box from the USPS. You can check the price at www.usps.com None of the shipping costs goes in my pocket. ALL of it goes to shipping. You do get a lot of needles in this listing. Hope that helps. I would totally bid on this if it was just the crochet needles. Number one because I don't knit (yet) and number two because the shipping would be waaaay cheaper for just the crochet needles.

If you only want the crochet needles, we could work that out if you win the bid. Also, shipping would be a WHOLE lot cheaper that way. that is something that we could work out IF you win the bid. Almost everything is possible. Thanks for looking and commenting

Great auction,been crocheting since I was 11 and started to learn to knit then but moved to another country teaching daughter to and did not continue learning.If I win I am going to start knitting again with some books I bought years ago to learn.Hope I win am teaching daughter to crochet and would be great to learn together to knit.
