This Auction is for a Size 8 Semi-Precious Mystic Topaz Gemstone in a 3.65 Oval Brilliant Cut and set in Solid Stamped Sterling Silver. (Please look through ALL Pics to see the 925 Stamp. This is another remainder from my Brick and Mortar and is BRAND NEW WITH TAGS.

MYSTIC TOPAZ also known as Rainbow Topaz It is natural colorless (white) topaz that has been coated, giving it a unique rainbow color effect. Therefore, it is not a gem type, but is an enhanced clear topaz. Mystic topaz may be so-called because its attractive changing colors appear deep, mysterious and unusual.

Mystic topaz is natural topaz that has been coated to enhance it, therefore, the beliefs that are attributed to natural topaz apply to it. The ancient Greeks believed that topaz was a powerful stone that could increase the strength of the wearer and even provide invisibility in desperate times. Both the ancient Egyptians and the Romans associated topaz with the Sun God.

Topaz is said to unlock the throat chakra, which facilitates communication and self-expression.

Topaz is said to promote the successful completion of endeavors; it also improves relationships through better quality and clarity of communication and understanding. Insight gained through the influence of topaz encourages clarity and a deeper understanding of ones self and the areas around personal expansion and growth.

The healing properties of the white topaz include easing the stress of being unheard and bringing color and light to shadow places in the mind.

Can it be resized?

Once it is yours then you can do with it as you please. I always try to advise people that a good general rule of thumb is that no more than 2 sizes up or down because after that you lose both structural and artistic integrity. I also try to let people know that they need to be aware of what a Jeweler is not going to tell you. First if you are making it bigger they are going to stretch out the band (so keep that in mind when you decide how much bigger you want it) and if you are going smaller then they are going to pinch a small amount of the Silver out of the band and they don't give that back but they do keep it and so keep that in mind when negotiating the price. I always want people to know what they are getting into when they want something re-sized. I need a size 10. But I lost my wedding band and it looked really close to this one other then the colors. I'm just looking for a temporary ring to wear until we can afford another one. I feel naked after five years of having there :(

My best advice is to find one that you think is perfect one. I wish you the best on all your bids here on Listia. Does this auction benefit the cancer treatment center?

No I am sorry it does not. I am a patient at a Cancer Treatment Center of America. I got a rare Cancer at a young age and I recommend anyone with a Cancer that is either late stage or what they call complex Cancer at least give one of the hospitals in the Cancer Treatment of America's group a try. As I truly believe that they saved my life and I have met numerous people whose Doc's had told them to go home and get their affairs in order. Then they come to a Cancer Treatment Hospitals and now 5, 10, and 15+ years later they are still here and doing great so I leave it up as one, a way to open a dialogue with women to let them know that if they know something is wrong that they fight until someone listens to them and two to let people know that there is hope when it comes to Cancer. Thank you for stopping by and having a look. I am sorry if there was any confusion. I have had that as my "avatar" for over three years and you are the first to ask. I appreciate you asking because I figure if you had the question so did others and I don't want any one to be confused about something as serious as that.
