Lately there has been a lot of people copying my auction description, usually in its entirety, and using it as their own in their auctions.

I HAVE NEVER and WILL NEVER give anyone permission to copy my description.

I have been listing these for a very long time and have worked hard to get my description exactly the way I want it, making sure it contains all pertinent information. I wrote it myself, which can be proven by looking back through years worth of completed auctions dating back to when I was actually the only one listing these codes. I did not steal it from some one else, as people are doing to me.

Do not be fooled by some one else's auction just because they steal my description. If you are looking for my auctions, please look for my name and profile picture listed as the seller. I am in no way affiliated with any of the people who have been stealing my description and am working on getting the thievery stopped.

My suppliers have confirmed for me that these codes CAN be used to extend a current subscription! Each code you redeem for the same magazine using the same name and address as on a current subscription or a previous redemption will add one year to your subscription. These are good for either new subscribers or renewals! They also make great gifts for any occasion! Check out my other auctions!

Just an FYI...if you win one of my digital delivery auctions, please be patient. I will send it as soon as I log in. I sometimes only log in once per day because of my busy schedule of being a Mom to 3 young children (see my profile pic). My log in times vary. I usually deliver within hours of auction end, sometimes within minutes, but sometimes I may not get to it until the next day. But I will get it to you as quickly as I can if you win.

That is also known as plagiarism, and i believe that is against listia rules. If not, it sure should be. I have been happy with all subscription auctions of yours that i have won and i have never had an issue with any of the codes. And i have received every issue so far and so has everyone else that i got some of these for as christmas gifts this past year and so far everyone likes them and thinks it was a great idea for a gift. So, if i see anyone else with ur exact descriptions ill will flag it or at least try to. I have noticed that your description has changed from before and i can tell u have worked hard on adding in as much info as possible, so that ppl wont have to ask the same questions over and over again. Which shows me that u care about the ppl who bid on ur auctions and really DO want to make them as aware of things as u want them to be happy with having some questions already answered in ur description so they dont have to message u and maybe have to wait for a response. And it would seem as tho u also listen to the questions u get asked and take into account that maybe it would be a good idea to go ahead and add that info in the description. You have worked very hard on getting your descriptions as close to "perfect" as u possibly can for YOUR auctions. And your descriptions are really close to what i personally would consider "perfect" and worth someone wanting to use for theirs. Maybe there is a way to help stop it. Thank you! Yes, I have tried to include all of the information that people need to know regarding these, and if some one asks a question that I never thought to include the answer to in my description, I try to add it in. Many of them are at their character limit, so if I add something, I have to change other parts slightly to make them shorter so the new info will fit. lol So yes, although the content has changed slightly from my earliest listings, they are still basically the same.

I do not mind having a little competition listing these...what I do mind is when people are too lazy to write their own description and decide to steal mine. When I see one, I flag it and then I message the seller and ask them to change their description to something that they wrote themself and stop stealing mine. Even so, many of them still take bits and pieces from mine and include it in theirs. But at least it is different enough where people will not just glance at it and assume it is mine.

I work hard to ensure that my winners are happy and have established a reputation with my fans for being an honest, friendly and helpful seller. I posted the comment to make my fans aware that people are doing this because I don't want them to assume that I am associated with the people who steal my description. I would hate for anyone to think badly of me just because they win one of the thieves' auctions, thinking it is mine or maybe some one I know and maybe have a bad experience with that seller. I do not know these people and if you ever see anyone using my description, KNOW THAT THEY USED IT WITHOUT PERMISSION.
