This book provides a deep understanding. It starts with Adam and Eve, conveying the importance of women and their role in God's eyes (NOT as a servant of Adam, by the way, but our importance in relationships) It then talks about how living in the world has ruined this, through a variety of striking examples of wounded women. I have no doubt that any woman who reads this book could relate to at least some of them. The authors gently show us how our wounds keep us from our potential, but then show us how God can allow us to reach it in our relationships with him and with others.
One main focus is how women have an inherent beauty, the world does its best to ruin it, but with God we are allowed to be beautiful. I realize this sounds cheesy, but the way it is presented in the book, it is far from it!
