Back when my hair was much longer I bought this there were two a large one and this smaller one. I used the larger of the two and never used this one to small for my thick hair!When open it is 7 1/2 iinches long.

She will be 11 in April, she is in ballet classes, quite talented and this will be perfect to put her hair up.
