FREE: 2 girls hair wraps NWT really cute!!

Thank you so much for letting me know. These will be butiful on my 4 yr old daughter's bald head. She is going to see a speicialist, but that will only make her hair grow back temporaily and she is already worried about her hair & the way other people look at her and look at her head. So thanks for these. I did bid & have it on my watch list :)

May I suggest that you look for a child's wig like they use for cancer patients who lose their hair with chemo? I know they are available you may need to check with the American Cancer Society to find out where and how they obtain them. I hope they aren't too expensive. Then she would have a choice of whether to wear her "hair" or not to as she wanted to. Also they use hats too a lot of times so look for some cute hats maybe too. If I see anything else I think will look cute on her like this I will try to grab it. Sandy

What she has It is actually spelled Alopecia and I had never heard or saw this condtion either. I was reading up on it and it says that her body hormones are rejecting her hair, and the book explaines it as having an allergic reaction to hair which I NEVER heard of. I actaually just started contacting a couple of organization with other children like her to get support and maybe in the future to get her ready for a wig. Right know she is a happy child and loves to go out, but I guess I like to keep her inside. My 11 yr old said that she is going to scare everyone on Halloween and my 5 yr old is careful not to touch her hair and just looks at her, But as the days go by everything is getting back to normal, but the thing is somtimes I am scared of what people think and even scared if I look at her. So somtimes I have to relook at the pictures and speand some more time with her to get me used to the idea

I knew what it was when you first mentioned it. I don't know a lot about it, but do want to caution you to get her a hat that covers her head when she goes outside in the sunlight because her little head would burn. I will definately watch for pink and purple. In fact I had a pink one but it went in an earlier auction so I will look for another pink one. People will think she had cancer and is taking chemo. If anyone asks, just tell them the name of the condition and explain it the way you just did. End by saying she is a beautiful very brave little girl and you are very proud of her. Don't worry about people staring, that is bound to happen just explain to her that people are wondering if she is sick and that is why they are looking, tell her to just smile at them when they look at her. It will take a bit but you will both get used to it, don't act like it's a big deal and it won't be. Sandy
