Most people think that is was located, here, in Virginia City, NV., but the 'ranch' for outdoor filming was in north-east Lake Tahoe and the indoor stuff was done in a Burbank, CA. studio. But they did film town scenes up here!
Bonanza stuff is still popular to buy if you can find it!
