This is a 1966 Topps #488 GEORGE BANKS baseball card.
High number cards from this season are more difficult to come by as they were printed in much smaller numbers than earlier series; as a result, even the 'common" players carry an inflated pricetag for modern collectors.

Banks had 3 call-ups with the Cleveland Indians between 1964-1966, totaling only 13 games. He played in only 107 games as a major leaguer, the other 94 coming with the Minnesota Twins. He died at age 45 from Lou Gehrig's disease.

Card is in excellent condition or better, with no creases and a very clean white variation back. Check out the pics.
