The listing, Set of silver speakers, for surround sound! has ended.
This was given to me, but we never even used it. I'm not sure if it works or not, but I'm pretty sure it does. It's in really nice condition, no scratches and all the wires are in good shape. This sells for about 80 dollars used, but lucky you, you can have it for one simple shipping charge!
Questions & Comments
WARRING for Bidders: These have a rated impedance of 3 ohm. Most surround sound receivers/amps use 8 ohm speakers. Using these with a receiver/amp that uses 8 ohm speakers WILL DAMAGE your receiver/amp! Before bidding on these look on the back of your receiver/amp near the speaker jacks for what impedance speakers it takes.
The large flat rate box is $14.95, but I'm not sure I can fit the subwoofer into that, so it could be a little more since I might have to ship it in a regular box.
you naver want to hook them up to your computer it will not be good ,,,,,,i have some like thes and mine as about 25000 wats of power to them, long as you have a surround sound dvd or pluray player it will work good ,,,just was thinking this mite help out
This was my thought! If I start stripping wires chances are I'll do some damage. I know nothing about this type of thing, and that's exactly why I'm getting rid of it! Thanks (:
The speakers will all fit in a flat rate box I know, so that won't be more than $10.95, and I'll ship the subwoofer separately. If I try to fit everything in one box, it's going to cost a lot of money because of the weight. So the subwoofer unfortunately will probably be more than $25 on it's own.
JLNDOCTOR1: Hooking up speakers to your mouse port KILL your mouse port and might kill your motherboard too.
yellowmeeper; JLNDOCTOR1's idea is good but wrong piece of hardware:( You can do what he says with a set of computer speakers. Cut the wire that goes to the speaker that dose not have the power/volume controls.
So from what I'm finding, these only hook up with specific dvd players (like Sony Dav SB300 DVD player), or without the plastic caps, can be used with generic speakers. I unfortunately don't own either of those things. /:
If You Take A Old Mice From A Computer And cut the cord end off then strip the wires and put 1 in each of those ends put some tape on them to hold the wires in then hook up to the output on you computer
do you have a number on any of the smaller speakers in the 3rd picture? And what is the sixth, smaller, item in that picture (at the back on the right?)
The thing in the back is just a computer mouse that somehow ended up in the basket. As for the numbers, if you mean serial numbers, they are 1191881, 1191882, 3097531, 2191881, and 2191882.
The speakers are a flat rate, $10.95. The subwoofer is hefty, but I don't have a scale so I don't know the exact weight. I'm guessing it will be at least $25 to $30, possibly more.
