The double play in baseball is notoriously called the "Tinker to Evers to Chance" after the legendary Cubs shortstop, second base, and first base trio from the early 1900s. They were so famous, in fact, that despite subpar offensive numbers, they were selected together into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946 by the Veterans Committee.
Ironically, Tinker and Johnny Evers famously feuded through most of their run as a double-play combination, and did not speak to one another.
