This beautiful bookend has a wood base (with green felt bottom) and features a spinning metal globe. It stands 6" tall and is almost 6" long.

The globe is the old-timey Italian style - you can see all the continents, but the most interesting thing is the little pictures shown between the continents.

I just dug this out of an old box, and there is only ONE of them, so I guess the other one got lost or broken over the years. One will still work on a shelf, though so would still be very handy to have!
