This player by maxell is a kind of iTrip except it plugs into your car's jack and use the +/- buttons to choose the radio station. It's best for the older ipods because it charges them whereas the newer ipods don't get charged through this device that I"m aware of. It's in great shape, as far as I know it works perfectly.

it transmits on fm signal so you turn your car stereo to what you have set on the display

Not sure :/ sorry. It fits my old ipod (color picture) perfectly, and it fits my new itouch too, just not as well (and it doesn't charge my itouch).

It should fit because it uses the USB end of the cord not the end that plugs into ur iPod :) watching. I say these at big lots for like 15 buks
