The listing, Vintage string or thread for needle crafts has ended.

My mom is clearing out her arts and crafts room and we found a bag of these. They are not dusty or anything- but they are really old. I will list more if people want them. I am not sure if age does anything to the thread... but these are over 40 years old.

I love putting together & listing the stuffed purse/box auctions & I've decided to try something a bit different… These are my "Build a Box" listings. I hate charging for shipping but it's either that or I have to become much more selective with the items I put on here… & I have too much fun listing items & have way too much stuff to stop!

Thanks to my clothing and recent toy auctions I came up with this idea… Winner pays exact shipping- but the hope is to have people pay for a flat rate box. Small flat rate will be $6.00 with DCN, medium is $12 with DCN & a large is $16 with DCN. I will have 15+ listings end per day and after all of the auctions end each night, I can let the winners know how much space they have for the following days auctions! If someone happens to just want 1 particular item… that is great too! :D

Well then I think you'll like what my mom has in her craft room and what will be listed over the next several days/weeks. She has a bunch of the round frame things that you use when needlepointing... but I don't know if people will bid on those. Perhaps I will list one and see. :D

useing both hands take a peice between your fingers and pull see if it takes a lot to break and see if you have a lot of lint or fuzz coming from it..^&^

It seems to me just about anything to do with crafts gets bids so I would try them. I am watching this..If I am to get it I will let you know if it is still useable...^&^

This is #10 crochet thread, pretty tough stuff. As long as it is kept in a dry location...seems to last for years:) The multicolors are usually a bit more expensive so they should auction really well.
fyi, the round frame things are probably embroidery hoops, they should do well in auctions too.

Okay, I am looking for Pinking sheers-- they scissors with teeth on them- they make a jagged cut that makes it hard to unravel cloth. ALSO I crochet and knit and would love to be able to win an auction of crochet thread or yarn. I'ma willing to cheat a little and see if you have these things for shipping. I bet you will do great if you locate the color code number on yarns or threads to post up as well.

Some people with stable (STash Acquisition Beyond Life Expectancy) might have just that one last ball they need to finish a 20 year old project!
