Questions & Comments
Do you know if these happen to fit the contour next meter ?
No, they do not. There is one box of Contour Next listed on Listia! I have changed meters because of my new insulin pump and I was changed to the Next. Medicare only allows 100 strips per month. Since I am a Type 1, I have to test 6-8 times per day and use different meters to make up the difference.
I also had to switch to the contour next because of my pump too . I hate being a diabetic. I have a lot of other strips for my old meter ( one touch ultra link )and I use both too . I also test a lot too . When I got my new "pink" pump , I also tried the censors. But they were too much work for me . I was diagnosed with type one when I was 34 . And put on 3 shots a day . That was about 20 years ago . Like I said diabetes sucks .
I told my wife that I am glad that I have Type 1 - she has Type 2 and is on glimerparide tablets. She never know how much she can eat and if she will go high or low. All I do is just put in the carbs that I eat and let my pump do all the calculation - LOL I do not have sensors for this pump, but did for my old pump and it was real nice to be warned when you are going high or low,
