1933 spectacular postcard from the worlds fair
The featured art is the pylons of the Firestone tire & rubber co's factory and exhibition building at the century of progress at 23rd street. Brilliantly illuminated vari-colored pylons line either side of the archway. Lighting uses indirect shadow planes.

Beautiful matte color printing! So saturated!

The lime green Franklin 1 cent stamp is cancelled :
"century of progress, worlds fair
Jun-Nov Chicago 1933"
And the date of cancellation is September 5th 1933, Chicago Illinois

Writing on the back says:
"Hello Betty:
We're having a fine time out here at the worlds fair with my sister. We drove to buffalo and the took a boat from there to Detroit and then drove to Chicago by car. I certainly wish you here with me. As ever,
Norman"

Addressed to :

Condition:
There is a corner missing, and there is a stain from some thing that dripped and crystallized on it. Other minor surface snd corner wear is from original mailing.
