The listing, Buddha Charm Amulet ● .25 oz. ● Talisman & Good Luck ● Silver Color ● Stamped Metal has ended.
Have several of these, but each is unique — this picture is unique to this relic.
We went to Thailand & also have friends who go & come back with gifts (some born there) — so we have or have had lots of souvenirs.
Thailand Buddas often have "pointed tops" — this one does not. We just generally collect Buddahs, but pretty sure this is from a remote village in Thailand. It does not look like the more recent souvenirs they sell — I think it is from 10-15 years back.
But I’m not absolutely sure when we got this or where.
I believe it is given at the temples when you attend a ceremony & is meant as an immediate blessing from the monks, and for good luck into the future.
I’m also not sure about the metal. It feels very hard and not soft anywhere — but looks like lead?? No rust or corrosion — maybe you can tell me. Some people say it is nickel material — I just do not know.
Almost a full inch high, about 7/8 inch wide, from the side it looks about as high as a nickle.
If you like these — & if the bids are decent enough to keep motivated — look for more to come in the future — cleaning out some old mementos and what nots, quite a bit in the Buddhist venue..
Please look at the pictures & make sure this will fit and work with your project or intended use before you place your bid; sold as-is.
