Description

The listing, Snowglobe Die Cut and Matching Stamp! has ended.

This is a coordinating set by Taylored expressions. This is a snow globe which coordinates with the globe stamps. That's why I have both items listed on the same auction. I will not separate the set.The diecut tool is a thin die cut.It is compatible with nearly all popular die-cutting machines. The tool measures about 3 1/4 inch by about 2 3/4 of an inch. The inside portion is made so that you can snip the thin wires so that the inside lifts out. You can use transparency film to cover this item so that it looks like the globe is inside a glass ball. The coordinating stamp is made to fit right on top of the die cut. The rubber inside the stamp is purposely made so that it will provide shading. It is not a manufacturer error! However, there is a tiny piece at the top of the rubber that I would snip off. There is a small purposely broken line on the base of the stamp that appears to be broken, but is made to provide shading. You can use the stamp by itself. You can easily use this item at Christmas to put a snowman or even a nativity set. The dimensions of the stamp are similar to the dimensions of the die cut tool. The plastic that encases the stamp is a little bit folded. It arrived that way from the dealer. But, that plastic is something you would probably throw away anyway.

I apologize for the glare from the light bulb. My camera is not the best in the world!

Answered my own question...went to You Tube...lol
I was confused about the rubber mat and the metal shim.

Sorry to confuse you. I was cutting at first with a rubber mat and the plates. The thin dies did cut, but It wasn't until I used the metal shim that it made it so much easier to use and a nicer crisp image.

Yes, I saw that on You Tube about embossing folders not having to have a machine (using a rolling pin)...but recently got into scrap booking so don't know how long I'll stay...lol

I stayed with scrapbooking when I found out that it didn't take me a lot of talent to do it! But, I needed the right tools. Then, I fell in love with it! Now I feel like I need to join an AA group for scrap-a-holics! I spend a lot of time doing scrapbooking!

This neat...so you can actually use these without a machine? Of which, I don't have one.

You really need the die cut machine or an embossing machine to cut with if you are using the thin dies. However, for embossing folders you can use a heavy rolling pin or a full wine bottle (If it doesn't have grooves) until you can get a machine.
