Floats & it shows the temperature of the liquid it is in.Has a little loop on the top you can use to tether it to a line or hook it in place on something like a pool net if you want to.
We used it for a portable hot tub.
If anything, it’s a bit slow — but it was reassuring to SEE the temperature before just stepping into the water unknowing the temperature — just in case it might have been filled too hot!
I suspect it would also be nice to know if the water is too chilly before jumping into a pool!
We are not using the portable hot tub, so this can find a new home that can put it to good use.
