The listing, Banana Tree has ended.

This is a new shoot coming up on my Banana trees The ones you see here is about 4 years old. They are the hardy ones that can live outdoors all winter. I think I will have 3 of them but not sure, so will list just one now. And see how many I will be able to get from them. I will mail these out when we dig them up in a few days. These looks like they will be large shoots, so they should be hardy

I am not sure, mine is 6 feet tall, so you would have to keep it trimmed if you don't have room for it

Toodie, How cold do your winters get? Do you get snow? Just wondering because I have a banana tree outside (in a pot) and was contemplating bringing it in soon.

My trees are in the ground and they are just covered with straw for the winter, our winters gets down to around -20 and we will have snow for at least 45 days during the winter months.

no they are only about 4 years old and I was told they don't do anything until they are 8 years old and older
