If it is a sin to watch Harry Potter, wouldn't it be a sin to profit off a Harry Potter item by auction or sale, thus promoting it? It is odd for someone to auction something then make a comment that criticizes the bidders.

If you look at the way it is worded, it looks like you were saying you didn't know because you didn't watch because it was a sin to watch it. There is a really big church here locally that made a documentary years ago about how Harry Potter was a sin (they also went after Buffy The Vampire Slayer, etc.). A lot of the baptist and pentecostal and prob some other churches are anti-witchcraft, even fantasy, so since you were also from Florida, it came across that is how you meant it. Sorry if I misunderstood. BTW, my daughter said the ornament was Neville (not sure if I spelled it right).
