Fanned you. Thanks for bidding on the auction. I have lots of youth books; just don't post many 'cause I don't usually have much interest.

Hello again HSA books:

If it's not a huge inconvenience,
when you have more Disney books,
please email me so I can bid.
Reason I'm asking is because when I search Listia
for "Disney" books it doesn't come up in the search...
Alternatively, you can add the word "Disney"
to your auction title next time when you list a Disney book auction
and that way I will be able to find it!
Thanks so much, Mrs. Adams

I'm certain you saw the second auction of Disney.....it is right after the Mickey auction. I "ain't gonna" promise nuthin', but my plans now are to START, probably in a couple of weeks, going through the boxes of books in the garages and getting some in boxes to post on one of my sites, mainly Listia, and the others move to the church. We do not have a used bookstore in HS; lost five in three months, one in business almost 50 years; one almost 30 and the largest used paperback store in Arkansas. I can clean out the room I am using at the church for rummage stuff until I price it for the next sale, and make it a bookroom; maybe even trying to open a Saturday or two a month, even possibly trading which is what people here really liked about our now lost stores. We already have a clothing room; you would not believe the play we get on that. Anyway, I have put Disney on my list of books wanted by bidders; you may not see one in weeks, and you may see one in a few days. (Friday night's auction did not have any books last week; week before had books all over the building. I list almost everyone of my books for 10 days; most relist at least once, maybe more. So as long as you check my site at least once a week you should catch anything I have posted. I would like to promise to notify you when I post a Disney, but I know the chances of me forgetting to do so are great. Thanks for you bidding/interest in our auctions. Jay P.S. I have no idea how "searching" Listia's request are. Do they mostly go by what's in the title?

Yep and no pets, not even a goldfish. No wife, secretary, mistress, maid, etc. Books are from auctions, charity stores, library sales, etc. but we try to make certain there are no odors, left over food, etc. These books just came from a church sale Wednesday. Thanks for your inquiry. Jay

Can't promise you anything, but I would be willing to bet there are other Disney books in my double car garage, which according to my yard boy who restacked one side recently, he counted over 200 boxes he restacked along one wall, with the other side and the other garage to go. We are guessing there are around 400-500 boxes of books; when I leave here, I have to turn sideways to get to the stairs going upstairs to the main part of the house. We are planning within the next few weeks to get through as many boxes as we can, hunting for various books my regular bidders are hunting and culling out as many as possible and sending across the street to the church for our next rummage sale, possible the first weekend in December. I cannot possibly live long enough to list even the "gooder" books in the garages, and more come in every week. So, do knida check in often; may not be a Disney book anytime soon, and the very ten days you miss, there went one!!!!!

Hi again,

Yes, I saw and am bidding on the other Disney book
because I was checking your books in case there was one...
But because you have many books it's somewhat challenging
to find it if it's "buried" there. And yes, I think the title does matter :)
I will do my best to check often :)
I'm sorry so many used bookstores are out of business there...
Here too, in Maine, no one cares for books no more...
I rescue many from many places because I LOVE them!
I will try to do my best to watch for your Disney auctions.
On an unrelated note, will you be listing women's clothes too?

Well, I probably could, except I don't think I want to branch out that far. I am supposed to do books only, which is what I do on my other sites. Which I hate to say I have almost ignored since getting on Listia as they are"books only" sites and although I have long wish lists in three of those sites, I find very few books a year on them. One reason for books only (and just a couple of weeks ago, I did add recipes and trade cards, but only a few), I can handle the media mail postage.......I have not yet conquered the other postage rates. But we do have a BIG room full of clothing, mostly ladies, at the church. Shame you can't just appear here and load up. We only hang nice, clean items and I do get a couple of women to go in every so often and pull out things that are not as nice as we like.....and they are given away out in the lawn. And, of course, anyone really needing clothes can get them free. Shoes and purses usually last a month or so and then go outside to the freebie box. Scarves, gloves, especially hats do not do well and usually end up in the rummage sale in boxes and then outside as freebies after the sale. A lady in California and I had a great deal going; she sent me sizes and I wrapped her books and stuffed the empty areas with clothes for her, her hubby, and son. But some blasted USPS "snooper" opened a box (kinda large, and not enough books) and charged the postage difference from media to regular. End of clothes wrapped books. Enough rambling, I need to get to Listia work as I have auctions to work out of town tomorrow and Saturday, and an estate sale to cashier Friday across town......Listia won't see my usual 6-8 hours every day for the next three. So look out for Sunday!!!! Jay
