Description

The listing, A Book of Country Things (9-3-15) has ended.

A Book of Country Things, told by Walter Needham; recorded by Barrows Mussey. Illustrated with contemporary engravings. Copyright 1965. Fifth Printing. "Just as if the old woodcuts had come to life, Walter Needham/s reminiscences about his Grandpa show with black and white honesty and simplicity the country things and ways he knew and followed. These endured throughout the United States for more than a century--then sort of faded awau om a dazzle of chrome and neon. 166 page, good condition hardcover w/DJ; ex-church library book, but clean and tight inside. I can honestly say: My parents did not spoil me (much), but Granny.......)
