Sodalite. First thing that came to my mind when I read this! I hope that helps however if you specifically want to communicate and strengthen family relationships then I would say Carnelian. But since Sodalite is the first thing I saw then I usually go with my gut. I learned a long time ago to listen to the Universe and save myself some time =) ~Namaste

No, I am sorry. This is about the size of all the ones I have. I have some slightly different Shapes but they are all about the same size. I have larger chunks of Kyanite but no Larger beads. It is such a delicate stone when you are working with it that I have to have an inner Zen energy to work with it and to go bigger I have to put a Sterling Silver frame around it. Call me crazy but I recently lost my Kyanite "wand" BOO HOO :( and I believe I could actually feel it missing me. Sometimes it would drop out of my pocket when I got my keys out at home but I always found it because I heard a thud. I think I lost it in a carpeted store when I was trying something on and it fell out of the bib of my overalls. I really love Kyanite and BTW it repels negativity! :)

I do believe you when you say you could "feel" that it was missing. We all make energy connections with our Crystals and Gemstones so it make sense that when something you kept in your pocket that had become part of your Auric Energy was no longer there. However, I also believe that it found someone who needed it's help more and so it made it's self available to that person. That is how I look at it when a Crystal or Gemstone goes away. As for characteristics of each gemstone, Listia only gives us 2000 characters to give a descriptions and since I have pages of research on each stone then I go with it's strongest characteristics first. yes F means fanned on here but when they use that they usually do it like this, "F, W, & B" which means Fanned, Watching, and bidding. Or some variation on that but you must admit that when it is followed by the U then it comes with an entirely different meaning. =) I am glad that your labor day is is laborless so far=) ~Namaste

As of yet my larger chunks are not shaped into anything they are in their original form they came out of the mine in. I am not a wire wrapper. I am a caster of metal for Jewelry pieces but I have never had a knack for some of the beautiful wire work that I have seen on pieces. Thanks again for taking a look.
