Thanks for this neat sounding listing. I have fanned you & am watching. You have probably fanned more people than have fanned you back & your fans need to catch up some before you can fan anymore. At least that is how it was explained to me about how it works on here.

Thanks!! Yeah, I believe you are right. I understood that as the ratio went up, you could fan more people. I fan people on their auctions sometimes without saying so! LOL Thank you for looking at my auction and for the helpful comment! : )

I love, love, love your auctions. Do you do bobbin lace? I don't even know a little bit about it. Almost every hand craft, I know something about . Well, I have heard of bobbin lace but never even tried it. I might give it a try. Here's an opportunity calling my name. Thanks for listing it. And the photography is fantastic and where did the little gift idea and Listia thing come from? That's so cool and professional looking. Great listing.

Thank you!! WOW...you said so many nice things I don't know where to start. I got the bobbin lace kit and wanted it so badly, but my son has autism and requires a lot of extra time. I was gonna keep it for when things settle down, but decided to let someone else have a go at it. If you win, you have to tell me how it looked and send me pics! LOL My fiance does the pics for me and made me the little tags like NEW, SHIPPING ones, GIFT IDEA, and the Making Friends on Listia. Feel free to borrow it!! I though it was great!! He helps me so much on here. Most guys would be ready to kill me!! LOL Not him...he is great. THAT is why he is my fiance! Can't wait to marry this man!! And he treats the kids as well as he treats me! Thanks for looking at my auctions and all the nice things you say!!

Well, I knew I was attracted to your auctions for a reason. I just missed bidding on the tatting. Oh heck, got involved in searching some other auctions. I teach music to special kids. I might have some suggestions for you if you would be interested. Also, what a great guy you have. I am happy for you and hope that you will be as happy with your man as I am with mine. Love and blessings go your way from this happy, old, couple.

After looking at the auction very closely, I think maybe I can't do this. Actually , I am pretty involved with my teaching, and what crafts I do know. I'm kicking myself though for missing out on the tatting auction. Thanks so much for such great listings. Oh, on the back side, you might check out my very humble and unassuming auctions.

I just taught myself tatting through some great tutorials on YouTube BUT----the whole 'shuttle' thing is over-rated, I think. You do the very same thing with tatting NEEDLES and it's much faster and easier. I did get the tatting down with a shuttle but found the 'needle version' by accident and now there's no stopping me! I just love it and the look on people's faces when they see my tatted chokers and bracelets (getting ready to put a couple up on here tomorrow)

Hmmm.....I would suppose you could make the bobbins out of dowels or clay (I do polymer clay work) and if you wanted this kit, it would then just be a matter of finding a book or free how-to's on the web (???) if you didn't win it. You would think there would be instructions on how to make the wooden bobbins or something similar that's workable on the web somewhere....
